All the sites Stotfold Juniors use for Grass Pitches will be open for games on the 3rd of October. I would like to thank everyone at the Club for all their hard work in what has been a tricky start due to the dry spell. Thank you to all managers, coaches, parents and most importantly the players for their patience. Soon every team can get going and start their season of football properly. Vice chairman Adrian Wenn and new Club Chair Paul Duggan, would like to publicly thank the volunteers who have been involved in the registration of players for the 2026/27 season. Every one of our 76 teams now has enough players registered to get the season started, with a total of 879 players. Another season and another example of these volunteers doing what is required to get the club admin prepared and all setup meaning football can get going.

With all this dry weather we have had we made the decision recently to stop football on our grass pitches temporarily. This is to protect our pitches and give them a chance to grow back healthier and make sure they are safe for our players. If we play on them now they will be damaged potentially ruining them for the season ahead. I know everyone is excited to get their season going again, but please be patient and understand that we as a Club need to think long term for the s
